2026-2027 Curling Membership Registration & Fees
Returning members who register and pay before the close of the Returning Member Registration Period (June 22, 2026 – July 12, 2026) receive priority registration before registration opens to the general public and for their returning spot in their leagues. Renewals received after that date lose preference and are treated as first-come, first served.
During the Open Registration Period, starting July 20th, new members can request an account with Carleton Place Curling Club via the Requst Account Link. New members will be notified when their account it is approved and can login and register to join leagues and make payments.
Adult Learn to Curl Program and Youth Program do not require an account to register. More information on these two programs and how to register can be found at he following links:

| Carleton Place Curling membership fees for all curlers consist of a base fee, an additional fee per league and a club infrastructure fee (for adults only). Most leagues are full season Leagues however there are a few select leagues that are half season Fall and Winter leagues at one-half the regular league fee price. Adult Curling Member
An Adult Curler would pay the Base Fee and all applicable league and add-on fees. The Base Fee includes the right to sign-up for any league, unlimited sparing (as long the member has signed up for at least 1 full year or 2 half-year leagues), includes the right to vote at member meetings, provides access to clubhouse, allows members to attend social events and participate in internal bonspiels, utilize the bar and lounge, and qualifies for member rental rates. New Member discounts and Student discounts apply. Proration of this fee is available for late joiners. Volunteer duty is required unless the Opt-out add-on fee is applied.
Social Member
An Adult Social Membership provides access to clubhouse, allowing members to attend social events, participate in internal bonspiels, use of the bar and lounge, qualifies for member rental rates. It includes the right to vote at member meetings. It does not include playing or sparing in any leagues. Proration for late joiners is not available. New Member discount does not apply. Infrastructure Fees and Curling Association Fees do not apply. No volunteer duty is required.
Returning Members &Teams
Preference is granted to returning members who register and pay during the Returning Member Registration Period, noted above.
Team Declaration: Team declaration is made by all team members registering individually with the skip named on their registration form. All team members must register and pay separately.
Fees Payment
Payment options include:

- Cheques made payable to the Carleton Place Curling Club and mailed or delivered to the club. Please note that league placement is not guaranteed until payment is received.
Late Payment Fee Policy
A Late Fee Policy: A Late Fee of $25 applies if payments are received after their due dates. For members registered before September 10th the due date is September 20th or within 10 days of registration after September 20th.
Volunteer Hours
The CPCC is operating as member-driven, not-for-profit organization, and requires adult members to volunteer 8 hours of their time per season to keep fees reasonable and operations running. For those members who are unable to participate in volunteer activities, they have the option to pay the volunteer opt out fee at time of registration. Members with outstanding volunteer hours at the end of the season will be invoiced at $20/hr for each hour outstanding. This fee must be paid before they are guaranteed their spots for the following season.
Sparing Policy
Sparing Policy: Club members may spare in any league without restriction, provided they are registered in at least one full year league or two half year leagues (with all base and applicable add-on fees paid) or have paid the Sparing Only Fee.Sparing on the same team in the same league is limited to 4 occurrences unless sanctioned otherwise by the Membership Director.
Learn To Curl (LTC) Program
The CPCC offers a Full Season CPCC Learn to Curl Program lead by a certified instructor. This enhanced 8-week program using an “off-ice/on-ice” format runs October to early December. This is followed by a "Developmental League" hosted by experienced member volunteers from mid December to early April. LTC participants are registered as regular members and are entitled to all Adult Curling Member benefits including voting rights. LTC participants may join additional leagues at the beginning of the season or after their course is complete by paying the applicable league fees. They are allowed to spare in any league without additional fees. LTC participants are exempt from performing volunteer duty but encouraged to help out where they can.
Change Fee Policy
Requests for changes to leagues after curling has begun will be subject a change fee at the discretion of the Membership Director. Any request for refunds will be subject to the CPCC Refund Policy.
