db test event... 2026-27 LTC Test Registering Only

The Full Season CPCC Learn to Curl Program is centered on a certified instructor lead enhanced 8-week program using an “off-ice/on-ice” format running October to early December. This is followed by a "Developmental League" hosted by experienced member volunteers from mid December to early April. New Joiner and LTC Participant discounts will apply. LTC participants are registered as regular members and are entitled to all Adult Curling Member benefits including voting rights. LTC participants may join additional leagues at the beginning of the season or after their course is complete by paying the applicable league fees. They are allowed to spare in any league without additional fees. LTC participants are exempt from performing volunteer duty but encouraged to help out where they can.

For Youth Ages 11-16

The Carleton Place Curling Club’s Wednesday Youth Program is designed for youth participants ages 11-16 as of September 30th of the curling season. We offer a full season of structured and engaging environment where young athletes can learn and enhance their curling skills. Designed to promote growth from the recreational level to competitive play, our program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and inclusion. 

Sundays 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM October 18, 2026 thru March 28, 2027 (excluding December 21 - January 11)

Each participant must have:

• A clean pair of indoor-only, rubber-soled sneakers or curling shoes with grippers (2) and a slider (1). Some grippers and sliders are available at the club to borrow
• CSA-approved helmet (e.g., hockey, ringette, ski, snowboard)
• Brooms are available to borrow at the club, but participants can bring their own if they prefer.
